Clips, Combs, and Curls

I got several positive responses in my last tip post, so I thought I would do it again.

1. A Tip For Heart Styles

This is a simple trick to heart hairdo’s like this. Late for this year, I know. The bigger the elastic the more it will look like a heart. I use the headbands. It bumps up more to create the heart shape. I tried it with the little clear elastics that look like this:

I love multi-colored!!! Anyways, back to the point. This did not work well. You couldn’t even tell it was supposed to be a heart! I usually use those small elastics, but in this case I had to go with these:

I like these, but I usually use the little ones! I used these for Bethel’s heart hair do. But, since Jubilee’s is thicker, I used headbands!

2. Wet Hair Before Styling

I almost always wet their hair before beginning to fix it. I makes it look smooth, the hair is easier to work with, holds in better, and reduces fly aways. I just bought an empty spray bottle from Dollar Tree and filled it with water. So easy!
