Meet Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder, one of the young rising stars of the NBA.

Durant recently had an amazing streak of 29 straight games of scoring 25 points or more come to a close.

Durant’s streak of 25-plus point games set a Thunder record.

The streak also was the longest since Michael Jordan’s 40 games in a row in 1986-87.

The highest point total Durant scored during his scoring binge was 45 points against the Warriors.

In the process of scoring so many points, Durant is averaging nearly 30 points a game and has catapulted to the top of the scoring list.
