Sunday: Judah’s Johnnie Jump up and Jet Ski’s

23 June 2008

Shew! That’s a lot of J’s!

Judah loves his Johnnie Jump up. You hand it in the door way and put him in it and he bounces everywhere. He does tricks. I think he his preparing for life in the circus!! (wait…we ARE the circus)

After church we went to the park to watch the Jet Ski races. We took our own drinks and bought tacos from Taco Bell. We watched them for 3 hours. The kids enjoyed it and so did the babies.  Our older friend at church brought the kids cupcakes so we had dessert too!

Jubilee has a new tooth we discovered in church. We are hoping this one isn’t black. It is a top one.

Late last night we had our normal sunday dinner.  Levi fried the chicken!  During our cooking conversation he informed me that the neighbors were of a different religion (I won’t name it! HA). I said “No, they are Methodist”. He told me that they believe in 7 heavens. I asked him how he knew that. He said “Because, mommy, they said that their dog was going to be in 7th Heaven.”. I informed him that meant that he would be very happy.  KIDS!! Cass and him had reasoned that out together!!

On Sunday mornings Jeff has been going through Psalm 119 and he finished that yesterday. Sunday night we are studying Proverbs.  We are also doing bible memorization as a whole congregation. That is fun.

I am always amazed at what the kids come up with…..It just solidifies my thoughts that we need to be talking/listening to each other a lot more so we can direct their thoughts and ideas better. Sounds like you had a busy weekend!!!

I am making plum jelly today and we are doing school, plus cleaning house and laundry. Oh, I did weed and water this morning as well. Would you all like to pick berries if we go back later this week?
