DON’T EAT THE TOILET PAPER!!!!!
4 August 2008Have you ever said these words? If not, you haven’t had enough children…or maybe your first was like this and you didn’t have to get to the 5th to say these words.
Today was the first time I ever said these words. Poor Judah! He is always into trouble. He looks for it. He finds it. He ALWAYS finds it and he eats it. Whatever it is…he eats it…..It is a good thing he is cute or I would be really stressed out. He and his twin sister also worked together to take the lid off of a bottle and dump it out in his baby bed they were playing in. Not funny!
Well, $180 water leak is fixed. Air is fixed. We have a new cat. Our friends, the Fikes’, called saying someone had dropped off a stray. Cassia has always wanted one. So, we have one. She isn’t a kitten but isn’t full grown. The dogs have diminished around here so I hope she survives. We have one dog but he stays tied most of the time. They will learn to live together….or not? HA The cats name is Oreo. Cassia and Levi wanted Oreo and Bethel wanted Rose. We put them in a hat and pulled out Oreo. Bethel still isn’t understanding the concept.
Life right now is organizing meals, grocery lists, school lesson plans, chore charts and getting ready to travel to WV for Jeff’s preaching engagement and in September to the beach after 7 years of not seeing one!!Busy…busy….I am NEVER in bed before midnight. Just how it has to be. I dream back to those days of going to bed at 9.

Stacy,
Just a word of encouragement!! We were all (as in all seven) in the bed by 9 last night…even the 20 year old. We manage this a couple of times a week!
However, I will probably not have this luxury in a few weeks as a newborn doesn’t seem to be able to tell time or to follow the family schedule.
Friday and Saturday I managed to put 2 bags of meatballs, 2 bags of beef tips in mushroom gravy, 3 pans of enchiladas and 2 pans of lasagne in the freezer. I am hoping we will not eat these until after the baby arrives. I need to get all of my freezers defrosted and organized in the next week, but I can’t reach down into the freezers!!
Later,
Anita

I just love your blog, Stacy! Your attitude about life and the way you roll with the punches is so great.

Our 15 month old likes to drink the water out of the toilet. He dips his hand in and then licks the water off. We try to keep the door to the bathroom closed, but with 2 other kids it is hard. We’d get a toilet lock, but I don’t think Patrick could open it! Needless to say, I try to keep the toilet clean!!
