Levi’s 10th b-day and Judahs first haircut and baby steps
6 September 2008Yesterday was Levi’s 10th b-day. Me and Cassia stayed up until after midnight (what’s new?) doing birthday things. We baked him a large cookie and decorated it with civil war soldiers. We wrapped his gifts and hid them for his scavenger hunt. (that has become a family favorite on birthdays).
We bought him several civil war pictures books and coloring books from Dover. We also got him a lefthanded banjo with picks, strap and DVD. He was SO excited. It is at the repair shop getting tuned and a few problems fixed. He can’t WAIT to get it back.
Judah had his first haircut last night. He has needed it for months but we have been sick and busy. It is real short. The front is a little shorter than we would like but it will be ok. His hair is so blonde and shiny. He looks like a little man. Levi had his first haircut at 3 months…Judah is 11 months.
I think today we will take away formula and just use it for night time. They are 11 months today. Time flies!!
Judah is taking steps. He has taken as many as 3 steps but usually just 2. We haven’t really encouraged him to do so. All my kids have walked pretty much at the same age whether they are encouraged to do so or not! HA Judah needs to walk so he can get into more trouble I am sure.
