VACATION…almost over

Well, besides cooking 3 meals a day…doing laundry and running the dishwasher all day…changing diapers…wiping noses…this has been my vacation week! HA
We love our little house on the beach. I love waking up in the mornings to see the ocean and the sand. The babies have colds so they aren’t spending a whole lot of time on the beach but they love it. They love the sand and the water.
The kids love the beach and riding the waves. We have seen dolphins several times and many jelly fish.
We took them to Target and Books a Million to spend some more of their money from Papaw. We actually ran into some friends in our homeschool group here in Gulf Shores!!
Today we went to Pensacola AGAIN to the Navy Base to the Naval Aviation Museum. Levi loved it. We ate lunch in the cafe there. It was a FREE museum. It took several hours to go through. They had a play area for the kids so I let the 3 little ones play for a while and chatted with a young military couple.
We took the scenic route back home again today through Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key, Orange Beach, etc. So pretty. I LOVE looking at the beautiful beaches.
I think we are the only one in town here. Many people have stayed away because of the hurricane but the weather has been perfect. We have had a really good time. Tomorrow is our last day here….the kids say they don’t want to go home. They are going to be very sad come Saturday morning.

I NEVER want to go home once I’m at the beach ;0)
