Happy Birthday to ME! Happy Birthday to ME!

Last night was rough and so was the morning. Cassia still has fever of 102 and 103.  She feels so bad and I just want her better.

Mom and Dad called to wish me happy birthday. It is my Dads tradition to say the following every year:

“____ years ago today about 2:30 in the afternoon I had a blonde-haired, blue-eyed baby girl”…he also puts in there how fat I was and how he thought I was a boy because I didn’t have a neck. He thought I was his linebacker.  So, now you know…I never had petite features! HA

Jeff and four of the kids ran out for errands and came back with me a bouquet of flowers, a ring and McD’s for dinner.  We usually don’t choose McD’s for our birthday dinners but I was just glad we all kept it down!! (well, except for Cass)

I’m just glad we are on the mend here.

    Sounds like it was a good day - minus the sick kiddo. I’m praying that she feels better soon!

    Stacy, I’m soooooooooooo sorry! I had all intentions of remembering to send a card (at least) and I forgot in the midst of helping my parent’s move & ballet this week. SORRy!

    I’m glad you’re feeling better & Jeff remembered to pick you up something!
