2 Doctor Visits and 1 ER visit
4 November 2008After 2 doctor visits and one ER visit Cassia may be on the road to recovery. She started out last Sunday (10 days ago) with this and it has gotten worse. She got up to fevers of 104.5 and couldn’t even keep meds down. She was tested for the flu and other things and was diagnosed with severe UTI. She was given an antibiotic shot on Sunday night and oral antibiotics to take. She couldn’t keep them down. I tried 3 different times. So, Monday we spent in the ER. She got some fluids and they did urinalysis and blood work. They switched her antibiotic and she can keep it down. She is finally down to 101 on the fever most times and is looking just a little better. This has been rough on her, me and Jeff.
The babies are barking like dogs so this morning they got breathing treatments and motrin.
