Going to a concert!

Tonight our family is going to the Prentiss County Agri Center in Booneville for a concert. THe Masters Quartet from this area and also there will be the McKameys and the Inspirations. This is what Jeff and I grew up listening too. I could write a novel here but I will shorten it to a chapter! HA
My daddy sang in a gospel group before the Lord called him to preach. So, we grew up knowing Inspirations songs and listening to them. Then when the McKamey’s came along they used to perform at our little Baptist church in WV every year. The group Jeff and I sang in used to be the “opening act”! HA So, we knew EVERY song they put out. Good christian groups.
So, we are thrilled tonight to go here some good, down-home gospel singin’.
Ok..I’ll admit. The McKamey’s are close to my heart because…………..When I first “saw” Jeff was at our annual outdoor gospel sing. Yes, I had met Jeff and knew him. But, that was the first time I went. “Oh, he’s special”. That was also the first time he “saw” me too. I won’t tell you our young age. I am so glad it was love at first sight. We always knew we would marry. Although we didn’t date until after highschool and we never told each other that until after we were married. I love you honey!! My heart still does flip flops!!
Ok..now that all the friends and family are grosed out.

I love the McKamey’s, especially their Christmas music. I grew up listening to them and The Inspirations alot too. Shoot, I was at ‘the outdoor gospel sing’ most years too LOL!!
We’re going to see Casting Crowns, pureNRG, and several others in a Christmas celebration in a few weeks here with Keithann & Okey, and Jamie and a bunch from her family will be there too.
OH!! Are we gonna see you for a few in a couple weeks?
