We’re Back!

We are back from our WV travels.  Here was what we did.

Wednesday night-arrived into my moms house about 9:00 after 9 or 10 hours on the road. Mamaw broke out lots of gifts so we were up LATE with the kids playing.

Thursday-Thanksgiving Day-we drove an hour to Charleston to be with Jeff’s family and arrived back to my moms for the night.

Friday-we did nothing. Jeff worked and mom and I baked, washed kids, etc.   My sister came up about 8:30 that night with her hubby and kids and we ate, kids played the Wii and we stayed up late AGAIN! HA

Saturday-can’t tell you all what took place this day but Saturday evening we arrived back at Jeff’s parents house to stay the night.

Sunday-drove an hour to Huntington to be in all day services that Jeff preached. Then drove 2 hours back to moms for the evening.  After services my sister and her family came up and her brother in law/sister in law and their little boy for some snacks and playing Wii of course! HA

Monday-went to my sisters in the evening for snacks and saw an old friend from church and her little girls that came to visit.  Of course, Levi played Wii!!

Tuesday-Mamaw, Cassia and I went shopping at the mall and ate at Chilli’s. Such a fun girls day! Back to MAwmaw Shorts for a big pizza party before we left out on Wednesday morning.

Arrived back home, 12 hour drive, on Wednesday night. Judah and Jubilee had a touch of the stomach bug starting Wednesday night and it is now over. Bethel woke up this morning a little pukey but not much.

Wintertime=constant sickness for the Shorts!!

Bethel loved her Mawmaws and WV and didn’t want to leave. She has called Mawmaw a few times now.

Good to be home but miss everyone!

    Hi! Glad you made it home safely and had a good visit with family. Sounds like Levi is going to have wiiithdrawal.

    When everyone gets well (Like maybe in JUNE!) I want to have ya’ll over.

    I’m glad you had safe travel here~there and everywhere in between. Wish we could’ve seen you but I know how crazy busy you are when here ;0)
