Bethel’s Birthday
18 January 2009Yesterday was Bethel’s 4th birthday. Bethel LOVES birthdays and talks about them all year. This year we had to be frugal so we had to get creative.
The night before her birthday I wrapped her bed in “princess (Christmas) lights” that I had gotten 50% off. She thought she was sleeping like a princess.
I made her 2 skirts (that ended up being too short..how discouraging). Cassia made her a doll quilt. Levi bought her a Dr. Seuss book and stuffed animal at Kohls and she also got a playdoh set. The older two made her a cake and decorated it and she wore a princess crown all day yesterday.
Mama Huffman sent her a dress, tights, barbie, Alice in Wonderland magnetic dolls and McDonalds coupons for everyone!!! Aunt Stephanie sent her a cute Childrens Place skirt and a doctors kit that she loves.
Hard to believe she is 4. Time will fly by quickly. She smiled so big when we sang happy birthday at lunch time. She ate SO much birthday cake. That is not like her. She loved it!
