Clothing Diapering? Never!

11 June 2009

Orange
I never dreamed that I would be cloth diapering until
a. times got hard
b. a friend (thanks Jeannie!) gave me a big stash worth $100’s of dollars!!
I have tried a few different brands but the ones that work best so far are Fuzzi Bunz!  They are rather expensive if bought new but I have gotten mine free or very cheap off of www.diaperswappers.com.    I am addicted to checking it everday to see what everyone is selling. There are like 70,000 moms on there. That is amazing to me!  People start making faces and scrunching up their noses when I tell them! HA  It is not that bad. I have a bucket in my laundry room that I dump them into and wash every night. I have even been taking them out in them and to church in them. I need a cool wet bag but for now I am just using a bag I already have to keep them until I get home.  There are so many companies and WAHM out there that make diapers. There are even very fancy embroidered ones that are so cute but very expensive.  I wish I would have known this kind of cloth diapering 10 years ago when my first son was born.  I definitely want to keep up with this new addiction!

I have been trying to get Jeff to let me order some.. I used cloth almost exclusively on the older two and less with each one until I never used them on Jackson. Caedmon was given a fuzzy bunz and I have used it a couple of times, but I can’t get Jeff to let me order more. Maybe he would agree to used. Thanks for listing that site.

    Stacy,
I love cloth diapers also and have been surprised how easy they are. Nate has worn them since he was born except at night. Don’t have the Fuzzy Bunz though- will have to try on the next baby! I like to use the stretchy clip thing instead of pins. Do you have that?
